In Vijayawada, CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Memanta Saaraya Bus Yatra organized by the Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy caused a disturbance. Some assailants threw stones at the chief minister and he was severely injured near his left eye. The incident took place at Daba Kotla Centre, Singhnagar, Vijayawada. While coming out of the bus and greeting the people, the bystander threw a stone. Throwing a stone at the catball, the stone came fast and hit Jagan’s left eyebrow. This caused swelling near the eye. Doctors provided basic treatment to Jagan. After the treatment, the bus journey continues as usual. Minister Vellampalli Srinivas was also injured in this incident.
