Supreme Court Verdict on Use of EVMs | ఈవీఎం కి తిరుగులేదు…కానీ! సుప్రీం తీర్పు | BIG TV
The Supreme Court on Friday dismissed petitions that called for comprehensive cross-verification of votes cast using Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) with Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT).Justice Khanna, stated that the court had rejected all petitions, including those requesting a return to using ballot papers in elections. Supreme Court says it’s has given two directions — one direction is after the completion of the symbol loading process, the Symbol Loading Unit (SLU) should be sealed and they should be stored at least for a period of 45 days.
